The below awards and prizes will be offered at the RANZCO 2025 Congress in Melbourne:
Best Papers (Gerard Crock and John Parr Awards)
The Best Paper session will be held on Sunday 16 November from 2:00pm – 3:30pm at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Gerard Crock Award will be announced for the best paper as presented by a RANZCO Fellow (of any year) or Scientist. The John Parr Award will be announced for the best paper as presented by a Trainee. Both winners will receive a $450 Visa gift card, certificate and ribbon.
Best Poster and Film Awards
The Poster and Film Festival will be held on Sunday 16 November from 5:30pm – 6:30pm in the Exhibition Hall. 10 high scoring posters will be short listed for the Best Poster Award and will receive a certificate and ribbon. The Best Poster Award winner will receive a $200 Visa gift card, certificate and ribbon.
Awards will be presented for the Best Film in each category listed below and winners will receive a $200 Visa gift card, certificate and ribbon.
- Best Ophthalmic Surgery film
- Best Non-Surgical Film (research, education, community, sustainability)
All winners will be announced at Congress and published in the RANZCO e-news and Eye2Eye Congress special edition. Winners will be contacted.
